The purpose of this site is to provide a place where we can share strategies and ideas for the advocacy of professional equity in the field of TESOL.
Issues of professional discrimination affect all TESOL professionals, NESTs (Native English Speaking Teachers) and NNESTs (Non-native English Speaking Teachers). We need to work together to build a stronger professional environment in which the value of our teachers rests in their informed, professional abilities instead of their nationalities, accents, or appearance.
